On Angels’ Wings knows that the economy the past few years has been very hard on area families. For some, it is difficult to find money in their budget to feed their pets.
We operate a Pet Food Pantry to provide dog and cat food and cat litter for the pets of families in need. Many times these families feel they have no choice but to relinquish their beloved pets to an animal shelter or Animal Control. By providing pet food, we help the families keep their pets where they belong – with their loving humans.
If you’d like to donate pet food or cat litter you can bring it to the Crystal Lake Thrift Store during regular hours (10-5 daily). (You can also contact one of the Food Pantries listed below to see if they will accept donations of pet food.)
To apply for pet food assistance from On Angels’ Wings, please stop into our Crystal Lake Thrift Store to discuss your needs.
If coming to our Thrift Store to pick up pet food isn’t possible, check with your local Food Pantry to see if they have pet food available and what is required to get some for your pet.
